In this weeks class we completed the second pass of animation on our walk cycle. the second pass is the second last stage of animation. In the instance of our walk cycle, it involved tweaking the feet using the graph editor. We also had a look at timing. Timing is crucial in animation. It defines the characteristics of a character. Changing the timing can make a character look happy or sad, energetic or lazy. It all depends on the timing. We then took what we learnt and applied it to our assessments. We then reviewed each others work and saw where we needed improvement and what made our work stand apart from everyone else’s.
